As the saying goes... Where there's a will, there's a way. So you have no excuse to not make it to the UK.
These three universities are some of the few offering scholarships for international students starting on January 2017.
1.- University of East Anglia
The first of them is INTO - University of East Anglia, which in 2016 are celebrating their 10th anniversary and they are giving away ten scholarships for international students willing to enrol an International Foundation programme in january 2017, this scholarships are worth 100% of the tuitition.
The International Foundation pathways available are:
Business, Economics, Society and Culture
Humanities and Law
Mathematics and Actuarial Science
Pharmacy, Biomedicine and Health
Engineering, Physical Sciences and Mathematics
3 Terms (9 Months)
£16,995 (£17,500 for science pathways)
How to Apply
Students who have been offered a place on any of the International Foundation pathways may apply.
Students must submit a completed scholarship application form, which will be assessed alongside academic qualifications and proof of English language level.
2.- Oxford Brookes University
The Malaysia and Vietnam Foundation Scholarship
Students from Vietnam and Malaysia wanting to take a foundation programme, can apply to this scholarship once they have been offered a place for an international foundation course.
The Richard Hail International Scholarship
This scholarship is for international students from outside the European Union, who have been offered a place to study an international foundation course,, they can apply for a £2,000 scholarship. The students will be academically excellent high school achievers. The Scholarship will be automatically deducted from the tuitition fees. Giving you a little background about the scholarship, it get its name after Richard Hail who founded the English Language Unit in 1988, He taught foundation students for many years and retired in 2015.
How to apply
For students starting in January 2017, for either scholarship, once you have an offer, the university will send you an online form which you should complete by January 15th. The university is having high demand for this scholarships, so they might not be able to respond to unsuccesful applications.
