- Vice-Chancellor Scholarships (Non-EU Students only):

The Vice-Chancellor Scholarship is open exclusively to international students, and with a £5,000 value, this scholarship is amongst the more generous in the UK. Those who are accepted are expected to become a valuable member of the International Alumni Ambassador Scheme.

You can apply for the Vice-Chancellor Scholarship if you: 

  1. Are an international student

  2. Have been offered a place on a full-time course starting in September 2020 or January 2021

  3. Are not currently registered on a course at Manchester Met

The Team Behind The Sports Scholarship 

The Manchester Metropolitan University team is known for their unparalleled support of students – both academically and athletically. Key members of the team, who are athletes themselves, include Callum Jones (performance sport manager and water polo coach), Sara Bayman (performance sports officer and basketball coach) and Jérôme Read (performance sports officer). In order to apply for the Sports Scholarship, you must:

  1. Be currently studying for or in acceptance of a place on a full-time or part-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree at MMU 

  2. Be competing at regional, national or international level 

  3. Participate in a sport as recognised by Sport England 

  4. Be able to represent Manchester Metropolitan University in your sport 

  5. Meet the academic requirements of the specific course that is being applied for 

  6. Be able to provide trusted referees

Applications for the sports scholarship for 2020/2021 are now taking place, with a deadline of the 1st of September 2020.
